PLan de l'Aiguille

Plan de l'Aiguille is a mountain plateau located at an altitude of 2,317 meters, which offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks.

It's the half way stage of aiguille du midi cable car.

Period: April / May and September / October.

Meeting point: Departure of Aiguille du Midi cable car

Duration:

The flight lasts 15 to 20 minutes. Overall activity takes 1h30.

About it:

After a short journey in the cable car, we walk a few minutes to reach our take off area.

We usualy fly here in the autumn and from noon to 4pm.

We launch from a grassy hillside and glide inboud one of the Europes longest icefall: the Bossons glacier. We can almost touch the ice !

restrictions:

Due to technical aspects, paragliding from plan de l'aiguille requires reasonnable physical fitness. We fly with kids from 15 years old.

Landing:
We land either at Bois du bouchet or at  Savoy field, which are located at 20min walk from the meeting point (5min by bus).

Cost: 160€
